Any risk of data loss with 128/256 channel sensors?

I’m having concerns about the 128/256 channel sensors and whether they might cause any data loss during recording. With such a massive amount of point cloud data being processed live, is there any risk of dropped points or frame drops, or is the full dataset guaranteed to be saved?

No, there’s no risk of losing data! All point cloud data is recorded and stored at full resolution. The live stream on your mobile device uses a lightweight preview to keep the interface smooth and lag-free, but the actual raw recording in the background remains 100% complete.

The raw point cloud data is stored directly on the internal storage of the GLider unit. The mobile device only handles the live preview and app control, so you won’t have to worry about filling up your phone’s memory during a scan!
